How Many Pages Does a Website Need?
By Daniel · September 21, 2026
Most service businesses need five pages: home, services, a page of your actual work, about, and contact. Everything beyond that is another page somebody has to keep true.
The page that closes the sale is the one showing your work. Real photographs of jobs you have done, ideally with a line about what the problem was. It is where people spend the longest and it is the page most small business sites do worst.
You can skip the blog you will abandon in March, the team page listing two people, and the testimonials page, because reviews are more convincing sitting on Google where people already trust them. Add city pages and individual service pages later, once you know which searches actually bring the calls.
