What Should a Quote Request Form Ask?

By Daniel · September 21, 2026

A quote form should ask four things: what the job is, where it is, when they need it done, and a photograph if they can take one. Name, email and message gets you inquiries you cannot price without driving out to look.

The photograph is the one that changes your week. For most trades a picture of the driveway, the roof, the pile or the room is enough to quote from, or at least enough to know whether it is worth the drive.

Keep it to five fields. Every extra one loses people. And tell them what happens next, in one line, then actually do it. Somebody who knows they will hear back today is far more likely to finish the form than somebody sending a message into silence.
