Getting found
Why Does My Website Get No Calls?
By Daniel · September 21, 2026
A website usually gets no calls for one of two reasons before any others: nobody can find it, or the phone number is not visible without scrolling. Check those two before considering a redesign.
After that, in order: it does not say which towns you cover, so people nearby assume you are not; the photographs are stock images of strangers, which reads as a company with nothing of its own to show; it loads too slowly on cell data, usually because of one enormous uncompressed photo; and the contact form asks for a name and a message instead of what the job is, where it is, and when they need it.
The last one is trust. No license number, no insurance, no reviews, no photograph of an actual person. You are asking somebody to let a stranger into their home.
